Honda’s lineup of SUVs truly shows off the brand’s range. The Honda CR-V, for example, is among the leaders in the crossover segment. In a snug package measuring 182.1 inches long, 66.1 inches tall, and 63 inches wide, you get a spacious daily driver that’s both stylish and fuel-friendly. With a 190-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine, paired with a top-tier continuously variable automatic transmission, the CR-V offers a refined, responsive ride that’s ideal for both commuting and running errands. Also, with up to 75.8 cubic feet of cargo volume, you’ll have no trouble lugging around your goods and belongings.
If you want more than the CR-V’s EPA-estimated 30 mpg1 on the highway, consider the CR-V Hybrid. Within the same exterior dimensions, the greener hybrid model combines a four-cylinder gas engine with an AC synchronous permanent-magnet electric motor, generating 212 total system horsepower. You get all that but with 40 mpg1 in the city and 35 mpg1 on the highway, leading to tremendous long-term savings at the pump.
Those with generally more rugged needs may be interested in the Honda Pilot or the Honda Passport. Both are midsize offerings whose power stems from the 280-horsepower V-6 engine under the hood. Depending on your configuration, expect to tow up to 5,000 pounds with either of these mighty vehicles. For maximum space, opt for the three-row Pilot, which offers 152.9 cubic feet of passenger volume and up to 109 cubic feet of cargo volume.

Consider the Honda Civic, the compact option in the automaker’s sedan lineup. At its most basic, the Civic offers drivers everything they need in a passenger vehicle intended for daily use. The interior is both comfortable and pleasant to behold, with spacious legroom in both rows, a sleek cabin, and a well-spaced center console. Meanwhile, the available 180-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine provides plenty of power for maneuvering through city streets and highways, all with a fuel economy of up to 40 mpg1.
The Civic is also available as a more cargo-friendly hatchback and the speedier performance-oriented Civic Si.
For a quality midsize option, there’s the Honda Accord. Even the standard model is a treat to drive, given its 192-horsepower turbocharged engine. For even greater performance, go for the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain, which puts out 252 horsepower and puts some extra thrill in your daily commute. The Accord is available as a hybrid model, too, which gets you up to 48 mpg1 in the city.
Even greater hybrid performance comes in the form of the compact Honda Insight. The EX trim is tremendously fuel-efficient, with an EPA-estimated 55 mpg1 in the city and 49 mpg1 on the highway, while the Touring model gets 51 and 45 mpg1, respectively. Some compact hybrids suffer from sluggishness, but that’s not the case with the Insight. Mechanically, it’s similar to the Civic, and thus it provides relative quickness along with quiet, comfortable, and confident handling.
With the Honda Ridgeline, the automaker proves that it makes more than just capable sedans and SUVs. In fact, the Ridgeline is among the best trucks on the market. With a unibody chassis, this midsize pickup handles and rides more like a midsize SUV — smoothly and easily. At the same time, it provides plenty of power, which you’d expect from a pickup. Its power comes from a 280-horsepower V-6 engine that corresponds with a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. With that, you get some impressive acceleration, with a zero-to-60 time of around 6.2 seconds.
Even with its relatively short bed, the Ridgeline offers substantial cargo space with its clever in-bed trunk. Opened from above, like an ordinary trunk, this weather-tight compartment adds 7.3 cubic feet to the bed’s 33.9 cubic feet of volume. In addition, the Ridgeline can handle over 1,500 pounds of payload and tow up to 5,000 pounds. Perhaps most surprising, considering its size and capabilities, it’s the leader in its class in terms of fuel efficiency, getting 18 mpg1 in the city and 24 mpg1 on the highway.
Finally, there’s the Honda Odyssey, considered by many to be the best minivan on the market. It’s more than just its 280-horsepower V-6 engine and the accompanying quick acceleration that push this renowned family vehicle to the top of its class. It’s also the wide variety of features the Odyssey has to offer. Honda’s Magic Seat system, for example, allows you to configure the second row in numerous ways, while you can sink the third row into the floor for easily expanded cargo space.
Speaking of cargo space, the Odyssey has over 32 cubic feet in the default cargo area behind the third row, which is sizable on its own. Without the second and third rows, you get up to an astonishing 158 cubic feet of cargo space. What’s more, the Odyssey is capable of getting almost 30 mpg1 while offering precise, effortless handling.
